You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Bollywood Hungama copyrights

Hi @Yann

I am new here. I came across this picture , and many other similar ones, that have been authored by Bollywood Hungama. I noticed that you had reviewed and accepted it for Commons in 2018, so I am tagging you.

I am trying to get some more similar images (typically, movie posters) from Bollywood Hungama for certain film articles in English Wikipedia, but am unable to ascertain their licensing.

May I know how you were able to conclude that this image has been allowed for usage by Bollywood Hungama? If there's an established way to approach them, I'd like to know. Kingsacrificer (talk) 08:48, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

Hi, I copied your message here, and also answering here. Bollywood Hungama releases all images of "parties and events" taken by their photographers under a free license. It means all images in this subdirectory. Are excluded images taken outside India, screenshots from movies, posters and studio shots. Yann (talk) 16:20, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

The page itself doesn't say anything about the free license you mentioned. Is that documented on Commons somewhere? Also, all the images that I see here are watermarked. Is it allowed to upload those? Kingsacrificer (talk) 17:55, 12 September 2025 (UTC)

Pay attention to licensing

Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content: images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. File:REV. SAMUEL M. MUSSELMAN.jpg seems to be free (or it would be proposed for deletion), but it was identified as having a wrong license. Usually, it is because a public domain image is tagged with a free license, or because the stated source or other information is not sufficient to prove the selected tag is correct. Please verify that you applied the correct license tag for this file. If you believe this file has the correct license, please explain why on the file discussion page.
