I drove 6.5 hours from <a href=\"https:\/\/globalgrasshopper.com\/cool-hotels\/top-15-cool-and-unusual-hotels-in-denver\/\">Denver<\/a> for an early four-day winter break and spent my mornings on the slopes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">I also squeezed in hopping on the free gondola to the European-style Mountain Village which had twinkling lights and gorgeous alpine architecture, sipped on a malty Festivus Holiday Ale at the buzzing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telluridebrewingco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Telluride Brewing Co.<\/a> and soaked up the apr\u00e8s-ski buzz in the vintage style Tomboy Tavern without the peak-season crowds.
